Trading Room Lounge
Bradford's Newest Casual Dining and Pub

The Trading Room Lounge occupies the area where oil traders in the 1880’s traded oil---five million barrels daily in those boom years---in “option” contracts. In 1935 a long Flemish oak two-ton Brunswick bar was installed. It featured six carved divisions which were replicas of chateau entrances lighted with old English lanterns with square globes of leaded white and amber glass. They still grace the bar, and the opposite wall, the centerpiece of which is a stunning fireplace, is adorned with the room’s original wall sconces. The hexagonal tiled floor and the oak wainscoting are original, as well. The dumb waiter, dubbed “Oscar”, has been completely restored and functions as the best waiter in town. He repeats no bar talk and accepts no tips!
The pub-like atmosphere of the Trading Room Lounge is the perfect setting for casual dining. Approximately 60-70 guests may be seated at tables, and the long, long bar will accommodate another twenty for both cocktails and dining. Two large televisions sit atop the bar area for easy viewing, and the log-burning fireplace provides a warm and cozy atmosphere for all to enjoy.
